Mobile Ticketing Application

Since the start of the 2025 season, Wetix has been offering its clients a new mobile ticketing application (available on iOS and Android) designed to provide a secure distribution channel that addresses two key challenges: ensuring a reliable experience for spectators and offering event organizers an effective solution against fraud.

Incidents linked to counterfeit tickets have highlighted the urgent need for secure distribution systems that go beyond standard e-tickets (PDF) and m-tickets (wallet). This mobile application was created with that in mind, integrating two-factor authentication, data encryption, anti-screenshot protection, and real-time verification features to prevent any attempted fraud.

From a legal standpoint, implementing secure measures has become even more crucial as regulations continue to evolve to protect spectators and combat fake tickets, particularly in the context of sporting competitions. A new decree, effective July 1, 2024 in France, requires the use of nominative, dematerialized, and tamper-proof access passes for sporting events at risk of fraud. By complying with these requirements, such as including the ticket holder’s name, enabling electronic transfers, and ensuring ticket authenticity, our application not only guarantees secure transactions but also ensures full compliance with the latest legal standards, thereby protecting both organizers and participants.

Beyond security, our mobile application also includes editorial features such as articles, practical information, partner content, and personalized notifications, with ticket resale capabilities coming soon.
